Time and repetitions are precious. That’s why we develop every program from scratch utilizing the most current research on your sport combined with an understanding of what your organization needs and values. There should be no work happening that does not help to move you forward and none that puts you at unnecessary risk for set-backs.
Once designed, we deliver your program with in-person coaching. In-person is crucial because any plan is only as good as its execution. If something is too easy, we increase the challenge. If something is too hard, we modify until it is appropriate. With us in the room, you are always working right where you need to be.
Neuromuscular Education
A huge component of strength and conditioning is knowledge, both conscious and unconscious. When working with athletes, we place a premium on teaching the fundamentals of biomechanics and kinesiology because without them, you will never be as strong as you can be with them. We explain how good movement works and we prescribe exercises that connect you to those movements. From there, we add strength. Step by step you will become stronger and more in control of your physical capabilities.
Communication is key
We take great care to tailor our communication to the needs of the athletes in front of us. Every sport has its own vocabulary and we are responsive to that.
Make a Change
Periodized Challenge
A key to proper strength and conditioning is knowing how much to do and when to do it. We look at an athlete’s entire schedule, considering the ebb and flow of their year, in order to determine the right times to push for performance gains and the right times to strive for support and maintenance. When your athletes are training hard within their sport, their strength and conditioning should aim to support. When the schedule is less grueling, there is a chance to push towards new heights.
